From People Student Checking Antiimperialista (CEPA) pay tribute to Jorge Rocha, who died on September 2, 2008.
Jorge Rocha was President of the Federación Universitaria Argentina (FUA) in 1968/69 when Cordobazo and worker-student uprisings as Rosariazo the Correntinazo and shook the dictatorship Tucumanazo Onganía. Struggles in which the AUM played an important role, pushing the student mobilization and unity with the working class and the people:

Jorge Rocha was one of the leaders of the student movement forged in the heat of the rise of struggles of the 60 and 70. A student movement marked by the Vietnamese resistance defeated L imperialism, the Cuban Revolution, the French May and the Cultural Revolution China. A student movement in the National Centres (CNC) in 1968 and the Congress of the AUM of 1969 made in its resolutions aimed at the student movement's struggle "University of liberated people" , joining the fight by the demands of university students in the struggle for national liberation and social
